Finding the Sacred Near You

This New Moon brings with it a powerful set of energies. I was hearing many people were being drawn to sacred sites around the world. I decided to look for something sacred nearer to my home, and was surprised to discover a stone circle within easy driving distance and felt the call for a road trip.

About one quarter of a mile up the trail after preparing myself, and tuning in, my attention was drawn to a sage bush right at the edge of the trail. I stopped to take in the smell, then gently taking a branch between my hands and drawing it through, bringing my hands to my face and taking a deep inhale of the scent, then brushing my aura to clear my energy as a final preparation.

A little way further my hands were activated, buzzing strongly. I knew the circle must be close. I made sure to set my intent, ask permission, and carefully make my way to the circle. I looked at each stone, like reading the energy to see if I was in the right place. I followed this with an invocation and a prayer. I spent some time feeling the energy of the circle, and the place.

The stone in the North of the circle appeared to me to take on the essence of a figure wrapped in a blanket. You can see in the picture below and decide for yourself. [I am sharing this with permission]. I stood taking this in, looking at the surroundings, taking in the view and feeling the wind.

You can start finding the sacred, by looking in your backyard. Tune into your favorite tree, plant, or your garden and ask it how it is doing? Ask if there is anything it needs? Walk your property. Rub your hands together, as we have done to generate energy, and feel as you walk. Do you notice currents? Heavy, stuck places? Strong flow moving quickly? All of these are cues as to how energy is moving across your property. Ask how to harmonize it?

In closing, I have created a survey to learn what you would like to focus on in future sessions. You can find it here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B67TLDF. I welcome your feedback, feel free to email me. And thank you for your patience as I learn these systems and get the bugs worked out.
